Re: Affiliate network, which one ?

Marco Janeczek asked about which affiliate network
would be best for his client Perfume.ca considering
their budget limitations.

IMHO I think Marco has 3 real choices. Commission
Junction, ClickXChange, or staying in-house using a
software solution. BeFree and Linkshare are far too
expensive and the other options mentioned are either
not true affiliate programs or still too unproven.

Your cheapest option is to stay in-house, although
the company may not have the manpower and expertise
to manage such a program. If they want to consider
this direction, check AffiliateAdvisor.com/StartAP.html
for recommended software solutions.

The next least expensive choice is ClickXChange at
http://www.affiliateadvisor.com/cx.htm
I would categorize them as a "younger" CJ in that
their system is extremely similar but smaller, like
CJ was a year or two ago. They offer many of the
same functions but with a smaller affiliate base
and not as many quality merchants. An excellent
choice for smaller companies who can't afford CJ
but want the benefits of being with a quality
network.

Then comes CJ at http://affiliateadvisor.cj.com
CJ will cost over $500 more to join and requires
a monthly minimum of $250, or $150 more than
ClickXChange.

Without knowing more than you've said I can't
tell you which choice is best, your budget will
play a major part in that decision. If you email
me I'll be happy to get into more specifics with
you and help you make a decision.

Also, any merchant who joins either of these
networks through the links reference above will
get free consulting on getting their programs
going plus free promotion of their programs on
AffiliateAdvisor.com and in my newsletter that
goes out to 80,000 subscribers.

As for a guarantee of 5 sales per day? Only a
liar will guarantee you anything. A big part of
that has to do with your client's site, prices,
commissions, etc. and affiliates have no control
over any of that. Only time will tell.

I hope that helps, Marco. Please contact me if
I can be of further assistance.
