Re: Free demo policies

There was somebody saying "why ask for email when
people download software, do you want them to demo
your product or subscribe?". I have a very good
reason why.

If 100 people download product demo and only one
actually purchased then that would alert me as a
developer that I don't have enough functionality
or interface is not to good or any other problem.
As development moving along daily and company
releases new version with added functionality and
improvements I think it's very good idea to email
all 99 who didn't purchase it. Send them release
notes and new link for download.

Most likely, they will get back and download your
product again. Moreover, if this time around they
find what they want it - they will buy it.

Keep getting emails. It will keep your pipeline full.

Sincerely,
