Multi channel marketing

Dear all,

yesterday I received the inquiry to write a concept for
"multi channel marketing." Beside this my business partner,
who is a congress organiser in Germany sent me the
unsatisfying programme of the past event they had launched
the end of last year.

I think it is wrong to describe each communication channel
as a "selling" channel. We need to learn to realize the
value of interaction BETWEEN these channels as a
communication habit.

Working on Multi channel marketing it is necessary to think
about the PERSONS own habits. Some people just do not want
to use the internet in Germany anymore.
Some people get sick of talking english in marketing terms...:--))
A lot of useful ideas the potential costoumers do not listen
anymore because they did not get introduced in german words.

I realize some people really get more relaxed when I talk
german to them. What do you think about it? Can you imagine
someone talk to you in german? Even you realize this message
might be a useful information will you like to communicate
the foreign language?

Some exprience for example in China shows me - no chinese
communication - no direct contact to the main descision makers...

Regards
Bernhard
