Now that you need to pay big bucks to get listed .. I'm not sure if they
are indeed still the best or at least the most objective. But I must stress
that Yahoo is still my fav site ... the features they offer are way cool.

As good as ever. I like Dmoz. AND you still can get listed in it .. if you
wait patiently for the editor to get to you.

Unless you use their Alexa bar ... the bar is one of the most useful tools
a marketer can have ... the Alexa ranking for each site is displayed.

They use Dmoz.
