Online Advertising Question
I just subscribed to this list, so I apologize if this issue has been
addressed before. I have been asked to come up with suggested rates for
advertising on our Web site (something we don't do now), in a special area
something like the Yellow Pages (we will probably call it a "Sleep Mall").
The objective is to find an advertising vehicle for companies that offer
sleep products or services (such as mattress manufacturers, pharmaceutical
companies, sleep monitoring devices, etc.) on a monthly basis. As currently
envisioned, it would be a page that would provide the name of the company,
its' logo, and a brief description of its product or service, with a link to
their Web site (whether it's their home page or a products page).
Our Web site averages more than 100,000 visitors each month. Is there any
standard or formula for setting advertising rates that we should consider?
All suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.
