I believe one good measure is to check out what competing
sites are offering.

1. Which are the sites in the same traffic and
   content range as you?
2. How do they sell their ads?
3. How much? Who buys?

These info should help you make a decision, in addition to
any pricing model you may eventually decide to adopt.
