Which brings up the whole notion of "open rate" as a valuable stat.
Remember that some e-mail apps preview messages (as I reference in my
last post with Eudora) that count as an open even when the e-mail
isn't actually opened.

Besides, even if it IS opened, what's the real value there? Lots of
people open spam to see what it is, but never act on it.

No slight to you Pesach, just thinking out loud and wondering if I'm
missing anything.
