Co-Registration Opt-Ins

I would like to hear comments/praises/complaints from those of you that have
used co-registration to increase newsletter opt-ins. Specifically, I would
like to hear about successes or failures using sites that allow you to
include your website name AND a description of the service (ie, ezine) that
the person would be opting into. A lot of these services now allow this and
they also require that the opt-in member also click on a link in an email as
confirmation of their intent to opt-in (eg, they click a box on a website
AND they click a link later in an email as confirmation). Companies I am
aware of are: WorldWideLists.com, OfficeLists.com, ListOpt.com and
PermissionDirect.com to name a few. Please provide your comments based on
your experience with any of these or other "confirmed opt-in"
co-registration companies.
