Advertising on the WWW

I'm at the moment writing a dissertation proposal about
Advertising on the WWW. I need to find two similar products.
One which has done well with their Advertising on the www,
and one which hasen't done well, and to then compare them
and analyze why the one has done well and why the other
hasn't. If anyone knows about two such similar products, I
would be greatful to hear about it. :-)
