Lyn, don't look for magic bullets. There aren't any. Successful online
marketing is just like successful marketing offline - you need to do a
number of things right.

Start putting together an integrated overall strategy that combines:

- getting your site the best it can be to convert visitors to customers, as
well as being optimised for best ranking in search engines
- a regular, ongoing online and offline promotional strategy
- search engine marketing
- email marketing as part of a customer relationship strategy.

These are the basics of successful web marketing. If you want to know how to
do it in detail and how to work out a strategy that's right for you, read my
book - "Web Marketing in the Real World - A Practical Manual" It was written for you - and
everyone else who wants to know where to begin.
