So Jonas - because one guy says pop-ups are here to stay, it must be true.
Whoopee... Sure they are, until someone comes up with a more effective way
to advertise online, which, BTW I hope is soon.
I guess he needed more pop-up advertisers on his site - yes he has those
pesky pop-up ads on his site (grrr)- could be he needed to do a plug to sell
more pop-ups ... or to justify that media buy to his current advertisers, or
quite possibly, in this case, since this guy writes about stock related
issues, to prop up failing stock prices or sway opnion about Internet
companies basing earnings on revenue such as advertising on their site.....
But of course it could be that remotely in a couple instances pop-ups really
work. But they are still TOTALLY ANNOYING. Personally I do not listen to any
stock advisors anyway so....
Well Jonas, sorry, but it is nothing to get excited about. Believe me. When
a new ad delivery vehicle comes along, pop-ups will join the ranks of 16mm
commercials...
