Re: Pop-Ups/Unders Dilemma

I have been reading the string of questions/responses
regarding Pop-Ups/Unders, and have found them
to be insightful and helpful.

Having worked with several of the largest U.S. (and Global) advertisers
in all media; TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor and for the past 6 years,
Online, and having helped spend over $15 Billion of those precious media
dollars...I can honestly say that I too, have as high a distaste for
Pop-Ups/Unders with relentless air travel ticket come-ons, debt
consolidation players and the like. However, it's also true that I hold
them in the same regard I hold persecutorial 'Songs of the Millennium'
music packagers, hair transplant magicians for the follically
challenged.

But here's the key. As long as there are consumers who are willing to
take that first step and purchase that impulse air travel ticket via a
Pop-Up, and as long as there are people who really like the songs
collected and served-up by huge media and entertainment conglomerates --
there will be Pop-Ups and Pop-Unders.

My question is, who are some of the leading media companies and/or sites
who practice the art of Pop-Ups with discretion and care for the user
experience?
