I don't know about that Harsha. Although this is just my opinion as a
consumer, not as an advertiser, I know lots and lots of people that hate
popups. I've recommended to more than one person a certain freeware
program that will prevent popups from displaying on your computer.

I'm still not over the fact that there's so many commercials on cable
tv, when people used to pay for it because it *didn't* have commercials!
Or now, that all the good movies are pay-per-view.

As a marketer, of course I realize how effective and necessary
advertising is -- but on the other hand, I'm not about to accept any
more "in your face" blatant ads on the internet. I'm a user of that
pop-up blocking software! :-)
