The delivery of e-mail newsletters at any volume has to be outsourced these
days. The ISP's are becoming quite aggressive in trying to suppress spam
and if you try to send even a few hundred e-mails in rapid succession you
may be tagged as a spammer, which has consequences you don't want to deal
with.

works. If you are going to do HTML newsletters, you will have to find
somebody else.
