If you hold a trademark, it may be illegal. It may also be illegal
if they are deceiving consumers who are searching for you and being led to

First Amendment? No offense, but people throw that around all the time.
First Amendment does NOT say you can say whatever you want to say.
There are plenty of laws that "infringe" on unfettered speech - copyright,
patent, intellectual property laws, privacy laws, slander, libel, etc...

If you don't have a Trademark, apply for one. And have your lawyer send a nice
cease and desist letter to the competitors.

I would not suggest retaliating by buying their KW if you are going to ask
to stop. You must come in with "clean hands" for the law to protect
you. They won't
tell them to stop if you're doing the same thing to them....
