Is anyone familiar with http://topsites-us.com?
Several of my clients have recently received requests to renew their
"listings" at TopSites-us.com for $60/year/category though they don't recall
making an initial paid submission.

TopSites describes itself as an alternative to Yahoo, with this text on
their site: "TopSites.us directory, a kind of classified guide to the Web,
now spans more than three million sites, in more than 400,000 categories,
with more than 100,000 new sites added each month." We are trying to
determine whether this is a legitimate and useful site, or whether it's
similar to "look-alike" Yellow Pages invoices that are actually sign-ups for
another service. According to their statistics, one client has received
some referrals from TopSites; others have received no referrals. Thanks.
