Sometimes it may take a while, because the editors may have a backlog,
and there is the issue of dealing with increased levels of Spam. As
long as you adhere to the FAQs, you should be fine.

You could try visiting the Open Directory Project Public Forum at
http://www.resource-zone.com to ask ODP editors if there is a specific
problem with your submissions, if you believe you have waiting a long
time.
