Hi Chris,
An easy way to do this is by creating a Session variable in ASP when
someone lands on your site via a banner, which you can do by recognizing
a querystring on the ad url. The session variable will follow the user
during their stay on your site and you can use it to indicate from which
ad someone came.

Some people will tell you that Session variables are bad (or that people
have session cookies turned off, or something else), but I've been using
this type of reporting on our site since the beginning, with no
recognizable problems (except in rare instances).
