Jason,

The problem with employing a freelance part-time sales person is that:

You get what you pay for.

If you pay on a commission basis only, realize that you're probably
looking to pay 40% or so in commission and realize that 400,000 page
views only really translates to about $4,000 figuring a total page rate
of $10 CPM on average, unless you've got a site that specializes on
financials... which if you're talking about Ferrago, I can see that you
don't.

There's not a whole lot of real money in the gaming market right now,
so if I were you, I'd look into finding one big sponsor and get them to
bank roll you for a while...

If you don't hire a real sales person, and pay them a token salary,
then they'll likely never buy into your organization, and they'll only
be around (or as interested) as the money is.
