Larry,
Wait a second.
You're saying it's "less than honest" to serve ads optimized based on click
through rate???
You think it's "less than honest" to serve ads that are frequency capped to
not appear to a unique IP more than once or twice per session?
Larry, we guarantee that every ad we serve is a paying ad. We just don't
guarantee the rate it's served at. And if your audience consists of 1000
people generating 2 million ad views per month, there won't be much value
associated with them.
Similarly, if your audience clicks on ads at 1/3 the rate most general
audiences online do, there won't be much value associated with them.
Don't blame a network for properly dealing with the economic realities of
your audience. Get a better audience, or sell it yourself.
Best,
Scott Brew
