I haven't used it, but have delivered these types of ads starting
about a month ago.
First off, it does a great injustice to the program to compare it to
Sprinks. Aside from looking like Sprinks and being an ad this
program appears to be completely beyond Sprinks.
I say this because it's obscenely targeted to even the most obscure
page. Take my site, SiteGadgets.com, which ran some of those ads
until I decided to pull them (they were *too* targeted). The main
page:
http://www.sitegadgets.com/
Is just generally about webmaster tools and the such. Google chose
two sites about making homepages and showed those ads.
However, if the ad appeared on
http://www.sitegadgets.com/info/tell.html?
It knew this was about "Refer A Friend" type scripts and showed two
ads for competing products. Same thing for several other detail
pages -- it could tell exactly what it was detailing and determined
competing products perfectly and automatically (and, I might add,
quickly)... even though those pages have very little information on
them.
Very impressive.
>From what I've experienced running sprinks ads, the text is
predetermined and not determined algorithmically and the account
representatives unusually mean. I don't know if they've changed
their service since my account manager stopped returning my
emails/calls.
