This seems to be a fairly common complaint. I don't get it... how can some
people amass such an amazing number of spam e-mails? I only get about 5-6
on most days!

My two main e-mail addresses are all over the place, my URL shows up in
search engines, I don't use a spam blocker (and asked that the server level
spam filter be removed from my hosting account since it was wreaking havoc
with my e-mail), I use no special scripts on my site to keep the bots away,
I've signed up for various newsletters and offers... and yet, I have very
little trouble with spam.

My husband's boss (and his business), on the other hand, has limited
exposure on the Internet and his account is constantly clogged with so much
spam that the hosting company has complained that it jams their servers.

When spam does arrive in my box, I simply hit the delete icon. On occasion,
something will look interesting and I'll read through it but usually don't
visit the associated website and have never once bought anything from a
spammed advertisement.

How is it that I don't get much spam and others seem to get tons of it? If
I'm doing something right, maybe I need to teach others! <g>

Take care,
Melinda
