Mailwasher is a little painful because it sits outside my email
software. If you don't want to have two applications doing the job for
you, you could get anti-spam outlook plugins from cloudmark
(www.cloudmark.com) or mailshell (www.mailshell.com).

Cloudmark is free (a beta as of now) but a little less effective, and
only works with Outlook. Mailshell also supports other email clients
such as Eudora, Outlook Express etc and is the best product I have used
for client-side spam protection.

Out of 300-400 crap mails sent to me daily, I guess I see only 1 or 2
now (and it has a lot of "learning" capability).
