The answer to spam IS easy. Spam Cop is the answer...the only possible answer.
Consider the options....
1. Legislation: We can outlaw spam. Yeah, right! What international body will
you find to pass such a law, and who would enforce it?
2. Filtering: This may work for you...for a while. But, in fact, filtering only
serves to quiet the vocal opponents of spam. It does nothing to stop the amount
of spam being sent. It may even increase the total spam sent. This is the
problem...the squandering of the bandwidth through the cloud and to the ISP.
3. Spam Cop: A spammer sends out five million spams; one percent of the victims
complain by email; the host and the relays along the way spend the next day
cleaning up their email servers; the spammer's account is closed; the spammer's
URL is blocked; the spammer's credit card is charged for the clean-up costs. This
is the solution, the perfect solution.
Spam Cop automatically deciphers the false addresses in the headers, prepares the
complaints, and emails them to the proper address as designated by the network
administrators involved. It does this for free. If everyone used Spam Cop, there
would BE NO SPAM!
