My answer is - it depends on the type of product. There are some
products that are "net-friendly" like (e)books, CDs, software, web
hosting services, food. In most cases, every intangible goods and
services are good for selling online.

Many other products can be purchased online but in most cases they
are examined and tried offline - that can be parfumes, electronic
devices even cars. People often buy at Amazon or some other popular
online store because they can get better deals than in traditional
shops.

Some people don't prefer to use online shopping because of the lack
confidence in transaction security and the security of their credit
card information.
