MODERATOR'S NOTE: AD:TECH San Francisco/Gator
Hi gang,
The next AD:TECH conference will be held in San Francisco
June 16-18, 2003. http://www.ad-tech.com/
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Gator Corporation
( http://www.gator.com/ ) I'll be attending the AD:TECH
conference and then delivering a series of reports on it
to the Online Advertising Discussion List during July
and August.
The Gator Corporation has a unique permission-based
relationship with over 35 million users. Gator enables
consumers to download and use some of the Web's most popular
software applications -- for free. In return, consumers agree
to receive targeted promotions/ads from Gator advertisers.
I had also hoped to be able to cover the Emetrics Summit
in Santa Barbara June 23-25. The reports I wrote
on last year's Summit seemed to be extremely well received.
However, so far I have not found a sponsor for coverage of
this year's Summit. Unless I'm surprised by a white night
stepping forward within the next week or so with a sponsorship
of that event, it will unfortunately probably not happen this
year.
In any event, I'm thrilled that Gator has shown the
leadership to step forward and sponsor AD:TECH, and will
look forward to delivering those reports to you over the
summer. Help me keep fingers crossed that something will
work out to sponsor coverage of the Summit as well.
