I did not know about this danger of coupons.. thanks for pointing
it out. While it does not really apply to my company, I'm sure it
effects others.

Our coupons exist solely as a promotional tool. Since we pay our
instructors based on our net on a per course basis, giving
discounts does not hurt us a whole lot. The more people to sign
up, the better, no matter what they pay. Once they have enrolled
in a course once, we are very good at getting them to come back.

Our goal is to have every coupon redeemed as many times as possible.
While the coupons we send to members carry the message that they
are special "member discounts," we are very happy if they are
spread around the internet as much as possible.

Perhaps I should consider submitting some coupons to those coupon
sites--do you have any URLs?
