I couple of quick points I would make -

* Why doesn't your logo in the top left link to the homepage like every
other site?
* Weather: weather for where? I assume Washington, but that isn't very
welcoming to me in the UK. I would have though most of your user's
*aren't* in Washington. In fact you state you are 'America's Newspaper'
in the homepage title!
* Why is 'Site Map' above 'Front Page'? Isn't 'Front Page' more
important?
* Wouldn't 'Front Page' be better called 'Home' or 'Homepage' like the
majority of sites?
* Lack of Alt tags on homepage content images hinders accessibility.
* Related stories? Its all very well having the top stories & breaking
news on the homepage - but why not present the user with something you
know they are already interested in?

I like the colours though - very fresh.
