Banner Ad Management Software and other questions
Hi all
I am a new member in the list. We run b2b portals
focusing on foreign trade. The revenue stream is
subscription services.
Of late, we are receiving proposals from ad agencies
and direct advertisers for banner ad at our sites.
We have never placed any commercial banner ad in our
portals so far, or joined third party services like
Fastclick.
Please guide us in selecting the right path.
We want to accept selected advertisements (in portals
as well as e-zine) from ad agencies and direct advertisers.
We plan to accept only impression based ads (CPM). We shall
never join third party agencies like Fasclick.
Please advise on:
1. What is the best option for a beginner
- Should we install in-house banner ad mgmt
software at our server; OR
- Go for an ad server agency like ad gravity
2. Please suggest a good and inexpensive banner
management software for in-house use. We have
received two names
- Central Point Ad Management
- AdvertisementManager.com
If you have used these software - please give your feedback
3. What should be the CPM ad rate for a focussed site
(on export import) with 300,000 page views per month
4. Please feel free to send all your suggestion/comments/
feedback. We are complete novice - any information from
you will be very useful
