Just an additional follow up to this, my post of two days ago. I have
since re-visited and contacted Douglas at the site advertisinginventory.com
The problem it seems was the lack of any instructions at the site. One
was supposed to offer up there email address in the input box. But there
were no mentions of why what and wherefore.
Also no private policy was present and the whole thin , on first
inspection, looked questionable to me. After speaking with Douglas, a
gentleman indeed, all is well again . He has clarified those items to me
and I thank him for that. My original beef though was on the fact that
it seemed like a clear case of free advertising via this discussion list
which I was always under the impression was
not permitted. But i can also see how this specific resource may be one
worth mentioning.
So my apologies if i offended Douglas and the moderator , but i still
think the changes made were needed:-) Right ?
