For those quantities I wouldn't be surprised if you were pushing your
servers limits. Especially if your database resides on the same box. There
are options to compress stats, rather than displaying IP's etc that would
help to reduce that.

But, back to the original subject; for the quantities Amit was referring to,
PhpAdsNew would be just fine.
