Question around advertising and sponsorhips for healthcare related sites

A client wants to do a revenue share agreement with me for a very
focused healthcare related niche site. His thinking is that all the
various healthcare companies....pharmaceuticals, publishers.....
Advertise on the various web sites and spend a lot of money to do so.

The deal would be I handle all sales and marketing and split the
revenues with him. He would maintain the site and do whatever work is
needed to keep the site compelling.

I am not interested in using a revenue model based on clicks and or
impressions. Too much work to manage and administer. The idea would be
to concentrate on sponsorships.

I am seeking feedback on sponsorship rates on niche sites. Anybody know
the financial models for sponsorships of sections of a site? Of an
email newsletter? I have some numbers but the more the merrier. And
any other feedback is appreciated.
