I agree with Clare on this one. I have also found that as long as
you're in the 3rd position on Overture you will reap the rewards. The
other benefit to this is that you will usually end up paying a lot less
than the person who is in the #1 position.

I took a look at your site and feel that you would benefit by using
Google, because it tends to be more consumer oriented than Overture.
Google is also a great option because you can cap your daily spend as
well as control your CPC.

V V Kannan asked: "Can some one suggest good reading material/resources on
affiliate programs."
I reviewed your site and assume you are interested in starting
an affiliate program as opposed to becoming an affiliate marketer.
Below are a few of the best resources I have found and should
provide enough "reading material" for the next year.
One of the best resource sites for starting or growing a
successful affiliate sales channel is the "Affiliate Manager's
Guide to Running a Successful Affiliate Program" at
http://www.affiliatemanager.net The site is rich with tips,
tools and articles. I consider Shawn Collins, the editor, to be
one of the top gurus in the industry.
WebPronews has a good affiliate marketing channel filled with
articles somewhat more slanted toward affiliate marketers.
http://www.webpronews.com/ebusiness_affiliate_sales.html
And for enough articles on affiliate marketing to last for the
next year, check out the "Affiliate Marketing Reference Guide"
at Ad Resource
http://adres.internet.com/tools/article/0,,8071_461801,00.html
Some of these are older resources but still worth a read.
3 of the top affiliate marketing discussion forums, providing
the most up-to-date information and trends for both merchants
and affiliates can be found here:
Internet Affiliate Marketing Association Forums http://www.iafma.org
Webmaster World http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum20
ABestWeb http://www.abestweb.com
Hope this helps and best of luck!
