BUSINESS ON THE WEB -- Where "word of keystroke" begins

After a break to get some paying work done and also for vacation, I plan to
restart our weekly chats on Thursday, August 14.

These are the topics I plan to cover first. Please let me know your level of
interest in these to help me prioritize and schedule them.
-- Google's Adsense (a simple way to make a little money, allowing discreet
well-targeted text ads to appear on your Web pages). Let's share tips and

-- Sitechatter and alternatives, as a way to fish for new customers as well
as for providing customer support, let's share tips and experiences
-- Netpetals ("personal extranets") -- return appearance for Ashu Bhatnagar
-- recent developments at AltaVista/Overture
-- new voice chat program, with Andrew Schultz
-- helping publishers get their books reviewed, with Steve O'Keefe

Also please send me additional suggestions (both topics and experts). I'm
looking for interesting and innovative business models, products, and
services and people who can explain/discuss them.
