Re: Recruiting people from abroad?

It is indeed enticing to save money and get quality production even if the
hiring process is outside the U.S. In India, there is a large group of
skilled professional labor ready to accommodate many businesses. From the
introductions to the process to the support. I'm even seeing spam now come
from various programming groups in India inviting companies to give them a try.

However, at what point does the India skilled labor market become so
saturated that it too then will have a shortage of programmers and other
labor needs? At some point it must. There's just not that many thousands
of programmers over there. While true it makes sense to pay a programmer
from India $12,000 compared to the same type of programmer in the U.S.
$70,000, there's a saturation point for everything.

And soon following India you will see China opening-up to a greater degree
outsourcing it's professional labor market too. It's just a matter of
finding enough proficient translators and managers to initiate and
accommodate the U.S. work assignments. I think you'll see this too with
the Philippines to a great degree too and they acquire and train more
programmers.

And the work goes on.
