In the pre-9/11 days, my former online marketing agency
had a division in New Orleans with six employees that
did hundreds, perhaps thousands, of online book promotion
campaigns for nearly all the major publishers in the
world. Steve O'Keefe, who founded that part of the
business, now runs online book promotion campaigns
through his own company (see http://www.patronsaintpr.com/ ).
His web site describes the different types of campaigns
he runs for book publishing clients, and has links to
many useful resources. Steve's book, the Complete Guide
to Internet Publicity (John Wiley & Sons, 2002 2nd edition),
is the bible of online publicity.

Gwen Gawlick, who supported Steve at Tenagra doing online
book promotions, also has established her own agency -- PR Diva
in Vancouver, Canada. You can find her at http://www.prdiva.com/ .
Both Gwen and Steve are outstanding sources for online book
promotion-related information and services.
