I have used Kanoodle and I did find their Customer Service to drag a
bit. You have to wait an extraordinary amount of time to get an answer
for your queries. The real problem I believe was the low-quality in
traffic that you receive.

Even though they offer a low price on some popular keywords, my budget
was chewed up in no time with very depositing conversions. The end
result was a huge amount of sign-ups but no depositing members!
 
If I may comment:
 
* Overture: Excellent - they have great exposure on major
portals.
 
* Google: lower targeted traffic and very picky with their
editorial guidelines but overall always worthwhile.
 
* We also use Sprinks which offers us good exposure on About.
