Search engine marketing

I just received a call from a representative of Common Names Navigation &
Search (http://www.searchclimbers.com) ... They allow internet users to use
their PowerSearch tool which can search up to 17 other search engines.
This company is only 3 years old but claims they are bigger than AOL
(I'm guessing in terms of their PowerSearch). Similar to Google, they
just implemented a PowerSearch toolbar so visitors can have the
toolbar at all times to perform any search. On their site they state, "Reach
28 million installed users!" but the representative said they just forward
people their to SearchClimbers.net and didn't have statistics on how many
people have downloaded their toolbar. They have been listed as "Top 50
downloads" on Computer Shopper.

My question to the group before I recommend this avenue to anyone:

  (Q) Has anyone used Common Names for online advertising?
  (Q) What results have you seen?
