I don't think VeriSign should be allowed to continue this service at
all. In fact, the URL example you gave does not work for me
(http://www.ajstz.com/) so perhaps they got the message from the
community and ICANN. Who does VeriSign think they are? As I understand
it ICANN and Commerce Department, or some other overgrown agency, has
the control of the Internet. This is just another example of companies
trying to do things that they should not. Look at all those users and
companies out their that have been awarded patents. All you can do is
shake you head (or file a lawsuit).

Give them credit for recognizing an opportunity though. There are lot
of users that can be served by this. I alone mis-spell URL at least 2-3
times a day. Would ICANN have the final authority on who can offer this
type of service?
