A good source is Cyberatlas.com. I typed in ecommerce growth and there are
number of studies including the first one that sounds like it could be
helpful though it predicts 5 years out rather than 5 years back. See
http://search.internet.com/cyberatlas.internet.com for the list of studies
using the key terms.

Other helpful sites are http://www.emarketer.com and
http://www.business2.com
I uses the Google tool bar to search many sites because it's often faster
and easier than using the search engine at the site.
