You state that you're not in the Advertising industry
but then profess to state that 'the banner is dead'.
To be honest I've heard this trite old statement
totted out time and time again and it still deosn't
hold up under scrutiny.
The banner is alive and kicking and is the main stay
of virtually every campaign we take.
Whilst there is a move from certain parts of the industry
to use more out-of-banner ads such as those from Eyeblaster,
ChackM8, Unicast or TangoZebra, the use of statically placed
banners, MPUs, buttons and skyscrapers are the absolute bread
and butter for all the major media owners.
