Flash is the kiss of death for search engine rankings.

Flash is evil.

Any webdesigner who recommends using Flash in a primary way on a
website should be taken out and shot, preferably after extensive
torture.

The only proper use for Flash on a website is as a supporting media,
embedded in regular html (ie: http://www.howstuffworks.com/) or as
canned presentations that the user decides to see.

99.9% of all Flash sites on the web are exercises in designer
ego-gratification at the expense of their client's needs.

I just wanted to make a reasoned post before the real flash-haters
pile in to vilify it...
