David, I think we are more in agreement then not. I don't hate flash; I
am unhappy with the misuse of flash. When a site exists to sell widgets;
if there is a flash element on the site; or a graphic; or a paragraph;
it should be there to aid in the selling of widgets.

I have nothing against thinking outside of the box if the creative idea
better serves the business. Call me an old poop, but thinking outside
the box can't become a justification for something that does not serve
the business imho. O:-)
