Log Analyzing Softwares

Hi group,

I write to you from Sify.com, India's most comprehensive portal and among
the largest players of that kind. The traffic to our site is huge and
growing.

We are currently using Livestats 6.0 from Deepmetrix to analyze our web
traffic and generate reports. But we are now looking at chaging to a
different software for reasons more than one. The primary reason is that
though it is has ample capacity to process our huge log files, it is very
slow and we dont get the kind of reports that we are looking for.

Would anyone be able to guide me on the following?
* What are the other off-the-shelf products that are available in the
market that would be able to handle our size?
* Are there any companies that offer such products but also allow
customization?
* How much, approximately, would such a customized product cost?
