Marketing through Associations.

Currently I am in charge of building value to our member base at the BC
Technology Industries Association and building revenue streams with
firms who want to market to our member base. The member base is 420 of
the largest tech firms in British Columbia, Canada(42,000 employees.)

I would like to know marketing guru stories of products and services
that were successfully marketed as either part of a loyalty program or a
revenue share with an association. I can guess what works (insurance,
travel, wireless, etc.) but I would like to hear it from other people
who have done it successfully. In addition, if you can recommend any
firms for me to contact for benefits or revenue sharing, please email me

I believe this is definitely relevant to this group, associations are a
major channel for internet marketing to a qualified audience.
