Jup, i was thinking the same. And when searching Google for content, it's
tiring to come across pages who are only trying to sell you stuff and don't
tell you what you're looking for. If this past dance managed to get
relevant content pages up on top, then they've done a good job, because
search engines are for content. When I want to shop, I go to shopping
engines and portals.
Our commerce pages have been hurt too. We have a "magazine" section as
well, providing rich content, whose pages are now better off than they were
some weeks ago. And we aren't using adwords, because having our mag
sections refreshed often, we're in the top 5 for most relevant keywords
anyway. We're now getting the magazine pages reorganized, so that
conversions from them are more efficient.
