I do not know the length of your survey. We use a lot of one question
surveys that we have on various pages of our websites. We usually put
them on the home page or in an area where we have the highest traffic.
I see nothing wrong with a pop-up survey as long as it is held to one or
two questions. You usually get the best results from such a survey as
long as it is held to no more than two questions.

If your survey is such that you are asking for ideas to make your
website more successful...then pick several locations on your website or
at least have a link on several pages to the survey.
