How do I improve targeted web traffic?

Hello,

Thanks Online Ads for such a great mail list. It's the only one I really
make an effort to read.

I am in search of some online information on increasing web traffic. Our
target audience is nurse professionals and employers who hire them. Search
engine ranking is pretty good for terms such as "nursing jobs," "nurse
resumes," and "nurse employer," and traffic is fair for a small website,
but could be much better. The rankings have not aided in many sales. Any
suggestions on finding more targeted traffic? We advertise in paper trade
journals also. Is there a place online that may provide stats on the
estimated number of nurses online? Thanks for any feedback.
