Pat, your search engine traffic should be well targeted because people
who found your site were specifically searching for things related to
your site. If the rankings have not aided sales, you may need to look at
your site to make sure that it is compelling and easy to use. Before
putting more money and effort into traffic, see what you can do about
your conversion rate.

You mentioned that you are advertising in trade journals, etc. I
recommend that you search the Web for sites and especially sites with
newsletters that have an audience of nurses. If you have not already
listed your site with as many health industry directories, etc. as you
can find, that would be a very good step to take. Then, if there are any
quality e-mail newsletters, consider advertising in them. We have always
had very good luck with targeted e-mail advertising.
