Banner Ad CPM

I have a client I am working with that would like to me to find out
examples of what others are charging for banner ads. The site is a
local news website (so it's definitely not a niche type market) that
receives between 200-300,000 unique page views each month, and he would
like to find out what others are charging per thousand unique page
views. However, any additional types of charging (per click, hybrid,
etc.) and rates will be helpful.
